Boyhood meets a story about the circle of life and death. A methamorphose told on three levels, which mingle and peak in a subjective perspective of a boy.

Every night when we’re about to fall asleep, we’re entering a state called hypnagogia. Our memories of who and where we are in the waking world start to fade and get mixed up with images and little dreamlets of the sleeping state. We might have the feeling of being a butterfly and suddenly can’t remember: are we the person dreaming we’re a butterfly? Or are we the butterfly dreaming we’re the person? Just like C. Tzu.
